What's with the goats?

Blue Goat Books takes its name from the Blobe goat, an actual blue goat. That's because - like blue goats - our books are interesting, useful, and actually exist.

So, yes, blue goats really do exist and we love them. They’re also both interesting and useful, too: the Blobe goat’s unique blue coat makes them perfect for survival in the mountains of the Tirol, and by being there they provide milk, browse vegetation on the hard-to-reach bits of the mountain, and (we imagine) provide company and amusement for the goatherds.

Okay, that last bit stretches our analogy, but you get the point. Our authors make content that is interesting, that has found its audience, and hits that sweet spot between curiosity, amusement, and pragmatism.
